BROOKLYN – Ahead of the 2025-26 NBA season, Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment (BSE) will debut new premium and fan spaces at Barclays Center as part of its more than $100 million, five-year plan to enhance the guest experience. The latest phase of renovations includes Gallagher Terrace, a premium membership club offering the arena’s only in-seat dining with waiter service, and Modelo® Bridge, an upper concourse fan zone created in partnership with the Official Cerveza of the Brooklyn Nets featuring the most expansive bar at Barclays Center – 67 feet in length – and accessible to all guests. Both spaces, along with a revamped concourse bar, will transform the west end of Barclays Center, introducing a distinct new look and elevated experience for guests at every seating location.

“Barclays Center sits at the heart of one of the most diverse and dynamic markets in the world, and our success depends on delivering an experience that truly reflects and celebrates our community,” said Shanon Ferguson, Chief Hospitality Officer at BSE. “Hospitality has always been a core pillar of our business, and these investments reinforce our commitment to putting guests first. Following a record-breaking year, it’s essential that we continue to evolve and elevate every aspect of the fan experience to ensure Barclays Center remains a premier global destination for sports, entertainment, and culture.”

Barclays Center’s Loge Boxes and sections of the 40/40 Club have been transformed into Gallagher Terrace, a 5,300-square-foot space inspired by Brooklyn’s Gilded Age. Exclusive to 110 guests, the intimate club features banquette seating – a first for the arena – accented with dynamic LED lighting. Gallagher Terrace is the only area in Barclays Center to offer an in-seat dining experience with visibility to the game (and waiter service), along with a full-service bar with premium wines, and a team of sommeliers, delivering an unmatched hospitality experience to guests without missing any of the action.

“In partnership with Brooklyn Sports and Entertainment, Gallagher is proud to unveil Gallagher Terrace at Barclays Center. This newly renovated space provides an opportunity for fans to gather and celebrate," said Chris Mead, Chief Marketing Officer at Gallagher. “We’re proud of our commitments to the communities where we live, work and play, helping us to better connect with our partners, clients and fans in the New York market.”

The west end of Barclays Center’s upper concourse has been reimagined as Modelo Bridge, a two-level, 6,800-square-foot multi-use space designed as both a communal destination open to all guests and an activation zone for halftime performances, fan contests, and other entertainment. Modelo Bridge features an oversized raised platform shaped like a bridge, inspired by the iconic structures connecting Brooklyn to the rest of New York, complete with artwork from local New York muralists commissioned in partnership with the Mexican beer brand. Guests can enjoy unobstructed views from two standing-room decks, purchase drinks from the arena’s largest bar, and take in views of Downtown Brooklyn through panoramic windows. The space also includes two new locations where guests can purchase food, merchandise and apparel during Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty games, and other arena events.

“Modelo has long recognized the ‘Mark of a Fighter’ in this spirited borough as the Official Import Beer of the Brooklyn Nets since 2016,” said Rene Ramos, SVP Brand Activation for Constellation Brands. “Modeling the Modelo Bridge after the iconic bridges of Brooklyn felt like the perfect symbol of grit and tenacity that connects our brand to this community, and we’re excited for it to become a new place for fans to gather and cheers to their favorite team.”

Renovation work for these projects was led by architects at Populous and construction management by Shawmut Design and Construction.

Additional projects completed at Barclays Center this summer include reimagining the Garden Bar on the arena’s main concourse, partnering with The Brooklyn Home Company to renovate six backstage dressing rooms for talent performing at the arena, along with a series of significant technology enhancements focused on efficiency and inclusivity, including:

  • The Brooklyn Nets launched a fully redesigned mobile app offering fans a more seamless and personalized experience, including enhanced authentication, personalized digital member cards, real-time MTA updates, and an AI-powered virtual assistant for game day support.
  • In partnership with Ticketmaster, the Nets are expanding their collaboration with OneCourt to provide five of its groundbreaking tactile devices free of charge at all home games, allowing Blind and Low-Vision fans to experience the action through real-time touch feedback. The Nets were the first professional sports team on the East Coast to pilot this innovative technology during the 2024-25 NBA season. • Improvements to entry efficiency and safety by rolling out Express Entry using Wicket’s facial authentication technology, installing Evolv Express screening systems at various entrances, and deploying SeeTrue’s AI-powered security software for advanced prohibited-item detection.
  • Completion of the arena’s first audio and lighting system upgrades since opening in 2012, managed in collaboration with technology consultant and systems designer Anthony James Partners (AJP). An expanded Adamson E-Series sound system features new loudspeakers, amplification, and control upgrades for greater clarity and coverage while Musco’s state-of-the-art cutoff game lighting and RGBW house/work lights enhance visual performance and energy efficiency, together delivering a more dynamic and immersive in-arena experience.
