Athletics can transform both the body and spirit, building camaraderie, character and positive habits that can last a lifetime. That’s why The Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty are teaming up to establish a community-first basketball experience. Our goal is to grow the game for participants of all ages through professionally led clinics and camps, community-focused events, instructional videos, unique basketball content and much more. Through our first-of-its-kind partnership with New York City public and charter schools, we are providing free basketball fundamental skills to tens of thousands of kids across more than 200 schools in Brooklyn.

In 2023, the BSE team traversed New York City to volunteer time, deliver meals, holiday gifts, warm coats and books to those in need.
We also unveiled new street art and refurbished basketball courts to improve the communities in which we live and serve.
