

BROOKLYN – The Brooklyn Nets will return to Brooklyn’s Potomac Playground in Bed-Stuy for their annual Practice in the Park, presented by Ticketmaster, on Saturday, Sept. 27 where fans can watch the Nets take the court for drills as they prepare for the upcoming season. Fans can attend Practice in the Park by claiming complimentary tickets, available now HERE.
The free, open-to-the-public event begins at noon and will also include:
• Gersh Park vs. Zone 6 Park basketball game, bringing together two of the borough’s most respected leagues for a high intensity matchup, emphasizing the Nets’ commitment to community pride and continued grassroots basketball development.
• Type.Set.Brooklyn Celebrity Game where hometown pride meets star power, featuring local influencers and personalities. Type.Set.Brooklyn is a digital-first global media brand and latest venture under BSE’s Brooklyn Media platform with content that embodies the spirit and energy of Brooklyn.
• Brooklyn Basketball combine, where clinicians from the Nets and Liberty’s youth basketball program will welcome fans of all ages to participate in a series of skill stations designed to test shooting, dribbling, vertical jump and more. Brooklyn Basketball representatives will also be on-site to speak with families about the team’s new youth basketball training center opening this month directly opposite Barclays Center on Flatbush Avenue.
• Vendor Village, bringing together local businesses, artists and organizations including a barbershop, manicures, charm bar, face painting, and more. Attendees will also enjoy a wide variety of activations including fan contests, merchandise giveaways, photo booths, lawn games, and more.
The Nets remain committed to bringing programs and initiatives focused on education, basketball and community investment to the borough. In 2024, the team hosted its annual Practice in the Park at Potomac Playground for the first time, a deliberate effort to deepen the Nets’ connection with the Brooklyn community, where thousands of fans gathered in Bed-Stuy for the open practice.
