BROOKLYN – The Brooklyn Nets will tip off their 2025-26 home schedule at Barclays Center next Friday, Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m. in a matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers, presented by All In Won. The evening will feature a special halftime performance from Brooklyn-native Kota the Friend and fans can also enjoy debut of New York-inspired concessions at Barclays Center from Levain Bakery, 7th Street Burgers, and Parm’s signature spicy rigatoni, as well Patty Place, a new concept by chef Kwame Onwuachi. All guests will receive a complimentary Nets t-shirt, and the night will mark the launch of the latest Berō merchandise capsule collection available at Barclays Center and online. To start opening night festivities, the Nets will hold a party on the Ticketmaster Plaza at Barclays Center before the game, with basketball shooting games, giveaways, and a live DJ. As the Brooklyn Nets tip off their season, the team’s home opener will serve as a dynamic celebration of Brooklyn’s rich culture and the unifying spirit of basketball, bringing together the borough’s iconic music, food, and fashion under one roof.

Fresh off his NO RAP ON SUNDAYS tour, Brooklyn-born rapper and songwriter, Kota The Friend, will perform at halftime of the home opener, continuing the Nets’ commitment to collaborating with emerging talent and iconic artists that reflect the cultural richness of Brooklyn. Additionally, fans can enjoy a variety of new concessions from beloved New York vendors this season, including:

   • Spicy rigatoni from Parm

   • Smashburgers from 7th Street Burgers

   • Cookies from Levain Bakery

   • Jamaican patties from acclaimed chef Kwame Onwuachi’s Patty Palace

Barclays Center will also showcase a featured cocktail, Brooklyn Signature, a spicy mango margarita – served in a custom souvenir cup and inspired by the countless spiced mango vendors found throughout the borough. As part of Barclays Center’s Brooklyn Taste program—which highlights authentic neighborhood staples that reflect the borough’s cultural diversity—the venue continues to deliver a culinary experience that reflects the rich culture and flavor of the city it calls home.

Barclays Center will also open new premium and fan spaces this season including Gallagher Terrace, a premium membership club offering the arena’s only in-seat dining with waiter service, and Modelo Bridge, an upper concourse fan zone featuring the most expansive bar at Barclays Center – 63 feet in length – and accessible to all guests. Both spaces, along with a revamped concourse bar, will transform the west end of Barclays Center, introducing a distinct new look and elevated experience for guests in all seating locations.

Fans attending the Oct. 24 home opener will receive a complimentary Nets T-shirt and be the first to shop the latest capsule from Berō, the team’s private-label merchandise brand that blends sportswear and fashion. The collection, which celebrates Brooklyn’s influence at the intersection of sports and culture, will be available at the Berō store in Section 9 and online at NetsStore.com.

“As we tip off a new season, we’re excited to welcome fans back to Barclays Center for Nets basketball,” said Andrew Karson, Executive Vice President of Sports and Corporate Marketing at Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment (BSE), parent company of the Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center. “Brooklyn is a cultural force with the best in sports, music, fashion, food and art which we’re proud to spotlight every time we take the court. Whether highlighting emerging and iconic artists or showcasing local businesses and restaurants, we’re committed to celebrating Brooklyn’s renowned creative community and energy on and off the court.”

To bring the excitement of the Nets’ upcoming season directly to the community and continue building meaningful relationships with local businesses, the team will host two takeovers for fans in Brooklyn, including:

   • On Tuesday, Oct. 21, the Nets will team up with Electric Lotus Tattoo – a neighborhood fixture since 1993 – for a flash tattoo pop-up. Fans who arrive between 2 and 8 p.m. wearing Nets gear can receive a free tattoo of one of three Nets’ logos (the “B” ball primary icon, the “Brooklyn” arched wordmark, or the Nets Threads wordmark).

   • On Thursday, Oct. 23, the Nets will partner with another Brooklyn mainstay, Levels Barbershop, to offer free lineups or Caesars to fans who visit the shop between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. The team recently collaborated with Levels Barbershop during its annual Practice in the Park, which drew thousands of fans to Potomac Playground in Bed-Stuy and marked the highest-attended open practice in team history.

To celebrate opening night, the Nets will host a party on the Ticketmaster Plaza in front of Barclays Center from 1 to 4 p.m., featuring basketball shooting games, giveaways, and a live DJ. During the event, fans can also visit the Brooklyn Basketball Training Center – home to the Nets and New York Liberty’s joint youth basketball program and located just adjacent to Barclays Center – for guided tours and complimentary Shoot 360 registration. The Brooklyn Basketball Training Center is the only youth facility in the tri-state area to offer Shoot 360’s immersive and data-driven training technology.

A limited number of tickets to the team’s home opener on Friday, Oct. 24 are available online at brooklynnets.comticketmaster.com and in-person at the Box Office at Barclays Center. Group packages are available by calling 718-638-7849 or emailing groupsales@brooklynnets.com.
