BROOKLYN – BSE Global has named Catherine Carlson as Executive Vice President of Global Partnerships to lead partnership sales, development and activation across all company properties.

As the leader of Global Partnerships, Carlson will oversee the servicing and growth of the company’s current marketing partnerships, while leading efforts to drive revenue through new business alliances and establishing the long-term partnership strategy for the organization.

“We are thrilled to have Catherine join our company,” said Sam Zussman, CEO of BSE Global. “She has tremendous experience in successfully leading partnership teams for sports and entertainment companies. As the Nets and Barclays Center celebrate 10 years in Brooklyn, Catherine will play a major role in helping us define key opportunities to elevate our brands in the next decade.”

“I am excited to be part of the future growth of BSE Global’s portfolio of properties,” said Carlson. “To work with a visionary leader like Sam, who is committed to transforming the BSE Global business to be the best in the industry is an incredible opportunity. I am looking forward to working with our brand partnerships team and celebrating 10 years of the Nets and Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the upcoming season.”

Carlson is a sports and entertainment industry veteran who joins the organization after spending more than three years as Senior Vice President of Revenue and Strategy with the Philadelphia Eagles, where she was responsible for driving revenue through new sponsorship, media, and premium seating opportunities. Prior to joining the Eagles, Carlson served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and Premium Activation for the Orlando Magic as part of an 11-season tenure with the team. Her position included leading strategy and revenue for the Magic and its affiliated properties and events, while also overseeing efforts to grow the team’s corporate sponsor base.

Carlson’s career also includes more than a decade at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, where she held various roles within the Alliance Development group and was responsible for the sports sponsorship team for Disney’s Wide World of Sports and developing partners for Disney’s Orlando based theme parks.

Carlson will begin at BSE Global on Oct. 3 and report directly to Zussman.
