Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment Names Mike Zavodsky to New Role of Chief Revenue Officer

Dan Lefton hired as Head of Tickets – Strategy & Operations and Josh Pruss promoted to SVP of Global Partnerships

BROOKLYN – Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment is restructuring and expanding its sales and service leadership for ticketing and sponsorship.

Mike Zavodsky has been promoted to the newly created position of Chief Revenue Officer and will oversee the ticketing, suites, sponsorship sales, and partnership marketing departments across all teams and venues. Zavodsky has been with BSE since 2005 and previously served as Executive Vice President of Global Partnerships. He will report to CEO Brett Yormark.

Dan Lefton has rejoined BSE as Senior Vice President of Tickets – Strategy and Operations, leading all ticket sales, suite sales, premium services groups, and the box office. Lefton previously worked at BSE from 2007-2013 as Vice President, Suite Sales and Premium Seating, and played a key role in the Nets move to Barclays Center. In his 4.5-year absence from BSE, Lefton co-founded Dynasty Sports & Entertainment, which provides a pricing, distribution and inventory management platform in the sports and entertainment space. Lefton will report to Zavodsky.

Josh Pruss will now be leading the sponsorship department as Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships. Pruss has been overseeing the partnership marketing department since 2008 and in his new expanded position, he will also manage sponsorship sales and continue to report to Zavodsky. Pruss has played a key role in BSE’s longstanding relationships with major global sponsors.

“I am excited to have strong leadership in place for 2018 to drive our commercial potential to new heights and create exceptional value for our key stakeholders,” said Yormark. “Mike and Josh have been an integral part of our team for years and I am thrilled to give them larger roles so they can continue making a great impact. Dan’s experience with Dynasty will be an asset to our business and we are happy he has decided to return to BSE.”
